The COQ D'OC Rouge is Syrah-dominant Languedoc blend. It is deep, ruby red in colour and has a raspberry jam ... On the palate the wine has more obvious blackberry fruit, spice and pepper. It has round tannins and a generous finish. ‘Le Coq d’Oc’ was the brainchild of Andy and Pascale, initially using a realistic French cockerel painting with striking colours for the label prototype. Ultimately artist Andy and designer Pascale moulded the ‘Coq’ into a more sophisticated, stylised bird, which still oozes the attitude that the initial prototypes conveyed and the name demands. The proud Cockerel could as easily be strutting through Harrods as promenading through the Languedoc countryside. It conveys the fact that although the wine was created by British producers and the image was created by British artists the product is 100% French and 100% Languedoc and proud to be so!

Opis Szczep: Chardonnay. * To specjalne wino powstało dzięki fali gorącej pogody (Canicule po francusku) w 2003 roku, która sprawiła, że zbierane winogrona były wyjątkowo dojrzałe. Jest to czyste Chardonnay, ogólnie obfite, z miodową nutą i gładkim, maślanym zakończeniem. Wspaniałe do drobiu czy wieprzowiny.

Roussanne Barrel Selection Domaine Sainte Rose 2007
Opis Szczep: Roussanne. We first created this wine in the 2003 vintage as a one-off, but due to the cult following this wine now enjoys we continue with it to this day. The roussanne grapes that produced this wine were picked during the night in order to protect the fruit from the extreme heat of the day. This wine underwent fermentation and ageing in French oak barrels with frequent stirring of the lees to create a rich, complex, full-bodied roussanne with good acidity and a luxurious finish. We suggest drinking this wine with creamy chicken or pasta dishes and with seafood ... Szczep: Roussanne. Opis Petit Verdot - Mourvedre Cyt.: "Les Derniers Cépages (ostatnie/najpóźniejsze odmiany) to nietypowa mieszanka gron dwóch najpóźniej dojrzewających odmian winogron - Mourvedre i Petit Verdot. W Langwedocji Mourvedre to ostatnia odmiana, którą zbiera się w winnicy, tak jak Petit Verdot w Bordeaux. Tylko, że w Bordeaux Petit Verdot nie dojrzewa każdego roku, bo czasami pogoda nie jest wystarczająco ciepła. W Domaine Ste Rose obydwie odmiany mają idealne warunki aby dojrzeć w pełni. Wino dzięki temu jest skoncentrowane i jedyne w swoim rodzaju. Aromaty czereśni łączą się z rozmarynem i anyżem. W ustach prawie dżemowe, pełne przypraw. Łagodne taniny. "

Opis The Coquille d'Oc is a colourful new range of wines produced here at Sainte Rose. With their striking labels, easy drinking style and affordable price point these wines are guaranteed to create an impression! We enlisted the help of neighbouring artist friends Andy & Pascale Bridge to create a unique brand name and image for this wine. The scallop shell was a very appropriate image to use for wine from Sainte Rose for two historical reasons. Firstly this shell was a waymarker for Medieval travellers on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. There is one such shell embossed on ... The Coquille d'Oc is a colourful new range of wines produced here at Sainte Rose. With their striking labels, easy drinking style and affordable price point these wines are guaranteed to create an impression! We enlisted the help of neighbouring artist friends Andy & Pascale Bridge to create a unique brand name and image for this wine. The scallop shell was a very appropriate image to use for wine from Sainte Rose for two historical reasons. Firstly this shell was a waymarker for Medieval travellers on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. There is one such shell embossed on a stone basin in front of our house as this site was once a hostellerie offering shelter to pilgrims travelling west. Secondly we have found actual scallop shells in one of our vineyards that date back to Roman times as there was a Roman settlement on the outskirts of what is now our local village. Le Coquille D'Oc Red Wine is Syrah-dominant Languedoc blend. It is deep, ruby red in colour and has a raspberry jam, chocolate and rich mocha nose. On the palate the wine has more obvious blackberry fruit, spice and pepper.
